 What is the Hockey Hall of Fame?

The Hockey Hall of Fame is the establishment of hockey players and coaches who have gone above and beyond in their hockey careers and been voted into the hall of fame. It’s a very high honor and 289 players have been inducted.


 Where is the Hockey Hall of Fame?

In 1961 the Hockey Hall of Fame was built in Toronto Canada, where it has welcomed thousands of fans of the game and of those who have been inducted into its halls.


 Is the Stanley Cup at the Hockey Hall of Fame real?

Yes! There are in fact many Stanley Cups at the Hockey Hall of Fame, including the original Stanley Cup which is held in Lord Stanley’s Vault.


 Who is the Keeper of the Cup?

Phil Pritchard is regarded as the “Keeper of the Cup” and he is responsible for its travel and safe keeping. He also presents the cup to each Stanley Cup winning NHL team. Phil is on the road more than 200 days with the Stanley Cup.

The Hockey Hall of Fame has the greatest collection of hockey memorabilia, artifacts, memories, and more. Spread throughout the entire building, you’ll be taken through an entire history of the game, see all of the inductees, get up close with the Stanley Cup and other trophies that are housed in the Hall of Fame.
