Raymond Risebrough

My name is Raymond Risebrough and I have been an avid hockey fan for over forty years since the first time I laced on a pair of skates and took my position on defense.When I stopped playing hockey in 1975 my passion for the game  did not diminish.My focus changed to following junior players and their careers.Some of them were Chris Pronger,Andrew Raycroft,Eric Staal,Eric Lindros,Joe Thornton,Jamie Langenbrunner,Jonathan Cheechoo and Sidney Crosby.I also coached minor hockey for 9-10 year olds for two seasons.Iam currently the owner and operator of a sports collectible store and that has allowed me to meet numerous NHL stars and coaches in person.Some of these are Bobby Orr,Gordie Howe,,Bobby and Dennis Hull,Jose Theodore,Marc-Andre Fluery,Jason Spezza,Jean Beliveau too name a few,For a period of three years I followed the careers of the OHL Kingston Frontenacs and four young players who all went on to be drafted by NHL teams being Chris Stewart,Bobby Hughes,Cory Emmerton and Ben Shutron.In June 2006 I attended the NHL awards banquet and NHL draft in Vancouver British Columbia.Attending these high profile events enabled me too meet more NHL coaches and players such as Marc Crawford,Lindy Ruff,Scotty Bowman.Ovechkin,Crosby,Robitaille,Messier the list goes on and on.In 2007 I decided to take the course offered by Sports management Worldwide course being Hockey general Manager and Scouting and completed it with a 96 per cent average.Also in 2008 I attented the NHL Awards ceremony in Toronto,Ontario and the NHL draft ceremony in Ottawa,Ontario.I know that I would be a great asset to any team out there looking for a good scouting prospect and look forward to hearing from you soon.
