Brittany Moore

I grew up and currently live in the Minneapolis area of MN and have been a lifelong baseball and Twins fan. My father was a semi-pro ball player and as a child I began to take interest in the sport as well. I played baseball with "the boys" all throughout high school and college. When I was 19 I discovered that there are other women around that country that share the same love of baseball. I have traveled around the world to play in USA women's baseball tournaments. USA Baseball in is the process of attempting to add women's baseball to the Olympic agenda in 2016. My goal is to be on the team.

When I am not playing baseball or other sports (I also competed in collegiate gymnastics for four years), I enjoy anything that is sports related (watching, working, analyzing, discussing). Therefore, I have determined that I need to pursue a career in professional sports.

I graduated from Gustvus Adolphus College in 2007 with a B.A. in Psychology, during which I completed a semester-long intership for a Sports Psychology firm. After gradution I got a job working in the Durable Medical Equiptment field, but realized that I needed to actively pursue my dream career. I signed up for the Baseball General Management and Scouting Course through Sports Management Worldwide to help me achieve my goal.

I was recently laid-off from my position with the DME company and am seeking open positions in the professional sports arena.
