Ben Carella is an accomplished graduate of the Sports Management Worldwide Baseball General Management and Scouting course. He was a three-year starting catcher in high school in Western New York, earning all-area recognition during his senior year. Ben has coached at the high school and travel baseball levels and has scouted and evaluated a number of MLB draft picks and free agents in the Western New York area, a region that is growing in baseball prominence. He has additional experience evaluating players through video, Trackman, and Rapsodo technologies. Ben is a SABR member, a Baseball America access insider, and Baseball Hall of Fame enthusiast.

Ben is a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Management with a Bachelors’ degree in Finance with a minor in Sports Management. He served as an intern in the Buffalo athletic department during his final year of undergraduate studies and is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration from the University at Buffalo while working in finance and data analytics.

With an eye for hitting, pitching, catching, and fielding talent, Ben is interested in assisting players, coaches, parents, and organizations in reaching their goals. Based in the Buffalo area, he is in close proximity to central New York, southern Ontario, northeast Ohio, and northwest Pennsylvania.
