Danian Lyttle

Scarborough, Ontario, Canada

My name is Danian Lyttle and I’m an avid fan of the game of basketball. I was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario Canada. I graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), and an Honours degree in Criminology. For the past 14 years, I’ve been employed in sales at the largest IT company in the world and I’ve decided that the time is now to pursue my lifelong dream.
Sports has been a major part of my life since I was a child. The first NBA finals I remember watching was when the Lakers repeated in 87-88 versus Larry Bird and the Celtics and then vs Isiah Thomas and the upstart Bad Boys. The first NCAA finals I remember watching was when Danny Manning led Kansas to the championship over Oklahoma. I’ve always had a love for playing, watching, analyzing and dissecting the game of basketball. When I was in high schooI, I would always buy a paper to read at the bus stop and on the bus as I headed to school. Even though money was scarce I couldn’t resist scanning the tiny box score to see what happened in the N.B.A. the night before. I have an innate ability to see the game within the game. I was an all-city all-star during high school and played against NBA All Star Jamaal Magloire.
My background includes coaching at the high school level (Woburn C.I.) and at the AAU level (Toronto Roadrunners ) and I’m also in the process of being a certified level 2 coach. I have a passion for speaking on the topic of sports which lead me to host my own sports commentary show on YouTube.
Along with my interest in sports, I have been involved with the community doing public speaking at schools and charity events.
I’m currently looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge and experience within the basketball industry specifically around scouting and player personnel. Please see my contact information below:
