Hector Tirado

Hector presently works as a Sergeant for the State Florida Department of Corrections, and a Director of Operations for Prospect Elite Program. Through the Prospect Elite Program, hector and a staff of workers help to train and enlist youth in baseball to look for an athletic scholarship in universities and colleges.

Hector is a graduate of SMWW's Baseball Manager and Scout program, completed in 2019.

He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, raised in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. From a young age, Hector has played and grow with MLB players such as Ivan Rodriguez, Juan Gonzales, and Usier Lopez. Hector moved to Miami, Florida, looking for an opportunity to try out for the Miami Marlins. Though he did not make it as a player, he changed his direction to coaching in 1994, moving to Orlando later in 2002 to fulfill this dream.
