His love for football goes deep and has been that way for the past 18 years to the point that Josh recalls memorizing stats and players at a very young age while watching the NFL Draft each season.

After high school, Josh accepted a football scholarship to play for the Pioneers at Utica College. He enjoyed the lifestyle the Pioneers had established for him. However, He was looking to play for a higher ranking program to showcase his talent. This is where he found Alfred University, located in the Western part of New York State. While attending school at Alfred, Josh was a three sport athlete and a Business Administration major.

Like many young adults, your path changes and Josh felt the calling to serve his country. He chose to enlist in the United States Navy where he served as a Special Operations Parachute Rigger for EODTEU Two located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. While on active duty, he found time to finish his undergraduate degree in Business Studies in Sports Management. He served his country with an honorable discharge in September of 2018. Post military service, he decided to go back to school for his Masters in Science in Sports Leadership at Castleton University. He also decided to enroll in Sports Management Worldwide’s Football General Manager and Scouting course. Josh obtained knowledge from some of the best instructors in the game of football through his time at Sports Management Worldwide.

Josh is a knowledgeable student who holds an internship as Morrisville State’s Football equipment manager and he is the Marketing Manager for Friday Night Light’s star James “Boobie” Miles. He takes great pride in being a part of the Mustang and Boobie Miles Family. His goal in the scouting community is to become a college scout or Canadian league scout.
