|
Luis Alayon was born on June 20, 1990, in the small Venezuelan city of Maracay. From an early age, he developed a deep passion for baseball, inspired by a family of devoted fans. He began playing at the age of five and continued throughout high school. Due to personal circumstances, Luis later emigrated—first to Italy and eventually to the United States—where he built a successful path in the hospitality industry, ultimately achieving his dream of becoming a U.S. citizen. Despite the many transitions in his life, his passion and love for baseball never faded. Now, in a more stable and mature stage of his life, Luis has chosen to fully dedicate himself to the sport he truly loves. He began his professional preparation with Sports Management Worldwide (SMWW), earning a Baseball General Manager and Scouting certification. His commitment to growth has been reinforced through mentorship by Dan Evans, former General Manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Hank Jones, veteran Dodgers Scout, both of whom have encouraged him to find his place within Major League Baseball organizations. Luis is now focused on pursuing opportunities to contribute his skills, experience, and baseball knowledge at the professional level. Driven, disciplined, and passionate, he is committed to reaching his goals and providing value to MLB clubs seeking dedicated talent in scouting and baseball operations. |
