Trey Rose

Trey graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in May of 2016 with a distinguished bachelors degree in business and economics. While at VMI, Trey played one year of NCAA collegiate baseball, but was forced to quit after a catastrophic knee injury while hitting. That same injury led to seven knee injuries, but after his recovery, he knew he couldn't live without being involved in the baseball community. 
In January of 2016, Trey started a baseball blog (, which was ranked in the top-10 out of over 45,000 blogs on four times in 2016. He was also featured as SportsBlogs writer of the month in June of 2016 after becoming the #1 overall MLB blog only six months after his blog's creation. Trey also works for MLB Reports as the lead baseball analyst. 
Trey graduated from Sports Management Worldwide's Baseball GM and Scouting course in September and is currently seeking positions with MLB front offices. During his time in the SMWW course, he interviewed 34 Major League Baseball front office individuals, which spanned 18 of the 30 MLB organizations. 
Outside of baseball, he is currently working for a boutique investment bank in Richmond, Virginia. Trey also loves traveling, writing, spending time with family, coaching his two siblings on the baseball field, and scuba diving.
