Anthony Di Virgilio is a scout willing to scout players regionally, nationally, and abroad. Anthony graduated from Salem State University in May 2019, with Bachelor's degrees in American Studies & Italian and minors in Geography and International Relations. Possessing intercultural knowledge and competency, Anthony understands the importance of centering diversity in the increasingly transnational basketball world we share. While in college Anthony studied abroad in Germany, Italy, and Greece and it was during his time in Greece that he was inspired to pursue his global basketball passion and become an international scout. In Greece he collaborated with students at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and traveled to the Y.M.C.A. Basketball Museum of Thessaloniki, inspiring him to make transnational sports culture a focal point of his college capstone. His senior thesis was titled, "The Transnational Impact of European Basketball Culture on NBA Playing Style." Anthony embraces the unorthodox and seeks to find prospective players who play cohesive team basketball.
