Chris Menges is a graduate of Penn State University's Smeal College of Business Administration with a B.S. in Economics, and is a PA businessman, baseball, and athletic coach. A former baseball player, Chris was an Assistant Coach on the Muncy High School 2004 PIAA Eastern Baseball Championship/State Finalist squad and also a Basketball Coach at Muncy High School on the 2002-2003 PIAA Class A Final Four/ Eastern Finalist team that played at Hershey Park Arena.

Chris is a College Scouting Director for Student-Athlete Showcase (SAS), a highly respected national sports management company that provides aspiring college athletes an individually designed college recruiting Game Plan to maximize the student-athlete's college recruiting potential in all men's and woman's college sports at all competition levels including NCAA, NAIA, and JUCO. He is also the founder of Menges & Associates Consulting/ dba Billtown Sports, where he provides business consulting services, economic advisory services, data analytics, baseball and advanced baseball sabermetrics advice, sports management advice, athlete training, and coaching services. 
 
As a baseball scout, Chris evaluates amateur, college, and pro baseball players in PA, and upon request, in other areas of the country. He has keen eye for talent and athletic ability, and as a coach can make the proper recommendations to help an aspiring baseball player develop his/her skills. Career Information
Chris has more than fifteen years experience in business including experience in consulting, marketing, sales, and all areas of business including financial services, tech, economics, finance, and sports management.

Sports Background
Chirs is a former baseball player, baseball coach, and multi-sports coach who was selected unanimously as an All-Conference All-Star and received numerous league All-Star Selections in semi-pro Baseball at multiple positions including SS,2B, UTL INF/OF. He started in LF in the 2004 North Branch Baseball All-Stars in the mid-season All-Star Game against the Tri-County All-Stars in a game played at historic Benton Park, PA. Chris coached at the high school level as both a baseball and basketball coach & basketball scout, and also coached in a top men's baseball league. He played with a number of professional baseball players who played in the MLB, MILB, and Independent. Chris started in multiple high school sports and is the grandson of former pro baseball player. Of note, Chris led both his High School and the Muncy Baseball Association in hitting with the highest team batting average and he prides himself on being an outstanding fielding, pitching, catching, and hitting coach. He was a high school SS and was honored as All-Conference and All-District selections; played Point Guard as a High School Basketball player; and spent time as a RB in football. Chris is the son of a former athlete and sports coach, businessman, and teacher.

Chris played for one of first baseball teams in United States history and is an Alumni of the Hughesville Travelers Baseball Club, who's played baseball in Hughesville, PA, at historic Bodine Park for over 100 years. He selected in 2006 & 2007 to play in a top PA Semi-Pro "Turn Back the Clock All-Star Game" played near Catawissa, PA. Rosters included former MLB baseball players who wore early baseball 1930's-1940's historic replica uniforms. The game was televised and also featured on ESPN Radio and included early baseball history & historical "Field of Dreams" ceremony performed before the game to movie quality sound.

Professional Background
Chris is the founder of Menges & Associates Consulting which specializes in business, data, and also has a sports division where as a former College Scouting Director I work with athletes in a number of sports including baseball where we evaluate college and pro prospects. I work as a Scout in amateur & professional baseball. He's also an accredited economist and he consults in various areas including economics, finance, small business, business growth, business coaching, real estate, and risk management.

Volunteer Work
Various volunteer work and fundraisers including American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, MADD, Road Radio USA, Inc. a 501C3 non-profit, community and church related functions.
