Tom Glick

Tom Glick has been President of New York City Football Club, LLC since February 1, 2015. Mr. Glick has been Chief Commercial Officer of Manchester City since 2012. He has worked for sister club Manchester City for the past two years. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Brooklyn Nets, LLC (formerly New Jersey Nets) from 2006 to 2007. He oversaw and managed the overall marketing business operations of the Nets organization, including ticket sales and service, marketing, corporate partnerships, communications and community relations. He joined the Nets following a successful near two-year stint with the NBA, a period in which the league set back-to-back attendance records and reached new heights on team sponsorship revenue.

From 2004 to 2005, as Vice President, Marketing & Team Business Development, Mr. Glick worked directly with team President, sales representatives, and service coordinators to help provide best practices in regards to season ticket sales and retention, team sponsorship development, sales management, training recruitment, game entertainment, communications, community relations, and business and basketball partnerships. In particular, Mr. Glick was instrumental in the sales and marketing of the New Orleans Hornets in their launch in Oklahoma City last fall after Hurricane Katrina forced the team to move.

Prior to joining the NBA in July 2004, Mr. Glick served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the Sacramento River Cats of the Pacific Coast League, a Triple-A baseball league. Under his marketing strategies, the River Cats led the minor leagues in attendance during his five seasons and became the minor league's top seller of merchandise.

Mr. Glick, who has 17 years of professional sports marketing experience, was also the general manager of two minor league baseball teams, including the successful Lansing Lugnuts. He was chief executive officer of the English soccer club Derby from 2008 to 2012. He also worked for minor league baseball teams from 1989 to 2004. A native of Colorado Springs, CO, Mr. Glick earned his B.A. in government from Cornell University.
