Chris Halbert

Chris was born in Anaheim, California, in 1977 and raised in the neighboring city of Orange. Growing up in a vibrant sports market, he closely followed teams such as the Los Angeles Rams, the Los Angeles Angels (formerly the California Angels), and, beginning in 1993, the Anaheim Ducks. While primarily a Rams and Angels fan, Chris developed a strong interest in hockey and has been an avid Ducks supporter for the past decade.

A dedicated martial artist, Chris holds three black belts in Tae Kwon Do, Kenpo, and Sei Ei Do. He has spent much of his life teaching and participating in athletics, combining discipline, leadership, and a passion for development both on and off the field.

Professionally, Chris has taught English, martial arts, and Artificial Intelligence, specializing in Large Language Models for Google’s platforms. His work as an AI Analyst has strengthened his expertise in analytics, evaluation, writing, and editing, providing a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making.

Chris recently completed the SMWW Hockey Analytics course and is currently enrolled in its SMWW Hockey GM and Scouting program. He is eager to contribute his analytical skills, leadership experience, and lifelong passion for sports to an organization committed to building and sustaining success.
