Chris Menges is a distinguished finance and economics professional, entrepreneur,  and founder of Paradise Valley Capital Group. A proud graduate of Penn State’s renowned Smeal College of Business with a bachelor’s degree in economics, Chris brings a wealth of expertise to the commercial lending and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) industry.  As a seasoned Commercial Loan Specialist, he has played a pivotal role in facilitating the  sale and acquisition of business entities, expertly navigating complex negotiations and orchestrating multi-million-dollar M&A loan transactions. Chris is also a baseball scout and baseball analytics expert-consultant where he’s worked at SMWW as a baseball scout, & SMWW Sports Agent Advisor. Chris has baseball and analytics experience with the Arizona  Diamondbacks (MLB) where he was mentored by the Director of Baseball Operations, Max  Phillips.  

Chris’s commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in his impressive academic background.  He has also studied at Georgetown University and holds advanced degrees from the  prestigious Quantic School of Business. In addition, Chris has earned certificates and  certifications from esteemed institutions such as New York University (NYU), The Institutes,  Columbia University (NYC), and Sports Management Worldwide (SMWW), where he has deepened his knowledge in fields including music, hospitality, entrepreneurship, finance, and sports management. While studying at SMWW, he excelled in baseball scouting, baseball operations, and analytics under the guidance of MLB veterans Dan Evans, Larry D’Amato, and Ari Kaplan.  

Beyond his accomplishments in finance and business, Chris is a former athlete and actor. He excelled as a multi-sport athlete in high school, notably starring in baseball where  he was on the MLB radar, and has held supporting roles in major film and television  productions. His diverse talents also extend to ventures within the entertainment industry,  underscoring his dynamic and versatile professional profile. Chris also played semiprofessional baseball and has enjoyed coaching high school athletics and scouting  players at all levels of play.
