Tyler Ballesteros-Willard is a 2nd year college student in Montreal at Champlain College studying Sports Management. In March 2023, Tyler successfully completed the Hockey GM & Scouting Training Program with Hockey Legend Harry Sinden, Peterborough Petes GM Mike Oke, and Tri City Americans Scout Dino Caputo. Tyler has met all of the requirements to be an SMWW Scout. In September 2023, Tyler successfully completed the Hockey Player Development Course with Winterhawks GM Mike Johnston and former NHL GM Mike Smith.

Tyler is proficient at Rinknet and Steva.

In addition to Tyler's SMWW work, Tyler practices scouting games for self improvement and for the SMWW Hockey Agency. His motivation and pursuit has always to become an NHL general manager. In 2022 and 2023, Tyler attended the NHL Draft and participated in the NHL Draft Career Conferences.
